East Leake

The village of East Leake sits within the Rushcliffe district of Nottinghamshire, and is located on the Kingston Brook. The village boasts quite a heritage with the historic St. Mary's Church at the heart of the settlement. East Leake started to grow with the introduction of the manufacture of plasterboard by British Gypsum in around 1880. Having transport links close to the A60 and A6006 and within 5 miles of the M1 motorway. Primary schools: Brookside and Lantern Lane primary's. Secondary schools: East Leake Academy. A well serviced village with a Co-op supermarket, a number of local stores, restaurants/pubs and takeaways as well as having its own police and fire station. Nearest Airport:East Midlands (8.2 miles). Nearest Train Station: Loughborough (7.9 miles).
