COVID - 19 - Sinclair Update

To all members of the Sinclair community

In light of the current situation in relation to COVID-19, I wanted to reach out to assure our customers and clients that we are monitoring events closely and working hard to ensure that we can continue to provide you with the high standard of service that you’d expect, as well as provide for the health and safety of our employees and their families.

Government advice is currently focused on supressing the spread of the virus to limit pressure on the NHS. As a responsible employer we are keen to support this approach as far as we can, not just for our own staff and customers, but for the wider community. With immediate effect we are introducing a range of policies aimed at limiting the spread of the virus by reducing the level of in-person contact wherever possible. Our digital infrastructure and the nature of our business means this can be done relatively seamlessly, with little if any impact on our day to day activities.

There will of course be occasions when face to face interactions are necessary, for example when carrying out property viewings or market appraisals. In these circumstances our staff will conduct a risk assessment prior to the meeting taking place. The following four questions will be asked of all attendee’s including our staff and unless all parties are able to answer NO to all questions, the appointment will not go ahead.

1) Have you or someone in your household returned from abroad in the last 14 days?

2) Are you or anybody in your household experiencing flu like symptoms?

3) Have you or anyone in your household been either diagnosed with COVID-19 or currently in self isolation?

 4) Have you been in contact with anyone who has been tested positive or in the process of being tested for the virus?

As a truly local business we’ve proudly served the local community since 1997 and look forward to doing so during this period of uncertainty. We believe it’s important to keep you fully informed and to continue to meet the demand for property viewings and market appraisals in a safe and measured way. Your support and understanding through such turbulent times is greatly appreciated.

We will continue to review our policies, processes and procedures in accordance with future guidance.
